Medical Questionnaire
A basic cardiac medical questionnaire is completed on the day of screening in the presence of our doctor. Minors of 17 years of age and younger should seek consent and additional help from a parent or guardian in completing this medical questionnaire.
Cardiac Assessment
The test takes approximately 15 mins and is undertaken as required by a male or female garda cleared registered medical practitioner. An electrocardiograph, blood pressure, heart valve analysis and pulse check is obtained and a report is filed.
Doctor Review
The Doctor will then review the report and consult with the person present. A minors parent or guardian will be notified by mail. In some symptomatic cases our Doctor may advise for further testing such as a Echocardiogram, 24hour holter monitor or a cardiac stress test.
Aftercare Service
We offer this service annually to schools, places of work, sport clubs and family homes to ensure normal electrical and mechanical cardiac function remains. As routine screening is advised our doctors are available 365 days a year.
